ఆంధ్ర ఫ్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వము ఉపాధ్యాయ అర్హతా పరీక్ష జులై 31,2011 న 23 జిల్లాలలో
నిర్వహిస్తున్నది. ఇందుకొరకు తగిన ఏర్పాట్లు చేసింది.
Eligibility criteria:
a) Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V:
Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed in 2 - year Diploma in Education
OR
Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed in 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed in 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*
OR
B.A. /B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. (these B.Ed. candidates will be eligible for appointment for classes I to V only upto 1st January, 2012).
Note: Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at Intermediate / Senior Secondary level is admissible for SC/ST/ Differently abled Candidates.
Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc/B.Com is admissible for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates.
b) Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII:
i) B.A. / B.Sc./B.Com and passed in 2 - year Diploma in Education
OR
B.A. /B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks and passed in 1 - year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
B.A. / B.Sc./B.Com with at least 50% marks and passed in 1 - year B.Ed. (Special Education)
OR
Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed 4-year B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed.
Note: Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at Intermediate / Senior Secondary level is admissible for SC/ST/ Differently abled Candidates.
Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc/B.Com is admissible for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates.
In addition to above, candidates with Language Pandit Training are also eligible.
Structure and Content of APTET:
a) All questions in APTET – July 2011 will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.
b) There will be two papers of APTET-July 2011.
(i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii)Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
c) A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
Paper I (for Classes I to V); No. of MCQs – 150; Duration of examination: 2 ½ hours
Paper I (for classes VI to VIII); No of MCQs – 150; Duration of examination: 2 ½ hours.
For Paper II Mathematics & Science section questions will be as follows:
1. Mathematics 30 MCQs
2. Physical Science 14 MCQs
3. Biological Science 16 MCQs
For Paper II Social Studies portion the syllabus will cover
1. History and Civics 30 MCQs
2. Geography and Economics 30 MCQs
Validity period of TET certificate / Marks Memo:
APTET certificate / Marks Memo shall be valid for a period of 7 years from the date of issue in accordance with NCTE Guidelines.
Weightage For APTET Scores in TRT:
20% weightage will be given to APTET scores in the ensuing Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) of the State Government i.e., 20% weightage is for APTET and 80% weightage for written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT).
Important dates:
Payment of Fees at AP online: 20.05.2011 to 16.06.2011
Online submission of applications through: 20.05.2011 to 17.06.2011
