upsconline.nic.in – 497 posts in CPF (Assistant Commandants) Exam 2011: Union Public Service Commission – UPSC has invited online applications from qualified and eligible candidates for the recruitment of 497 Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) (Group A) vacancies in the Central Police Forces (CPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Those who are eligible candidates have to apply by either online or offline. Assistant Commandants: 497 posts.
Age limit: The candidates must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 01-08-2011, reservation as per rules.
Educational qualification: Candidates passed Bachelors Degree of a university in corporate by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university.
Application fee: Candidates applying online they pay the reduced fee of Rs 100/- (No fee for SC/ST/Female candidates) either by remitting money in any branch of State Bank of India by cash (OR) by using net banking facility of State Bank of India OR by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card. Candidates applying offline through Common Application Form to pay a fee for Rs 200/- (No fee for SC/ST/Female candidates) through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS).
Selection procedure: The mode of selection is written test/physical standards/physical efficiency tests/medical standards tests/interview and personality test basis.
How to apply: The eligible and interested candidates have to apply either online or offline.
Online Application Form: The eligible candidates have to apply through online from the www.upsconline.nic.in website on or before 18-07-2011, till 11.59 PM.
Offline Application Form: The candidates can also apply offline through prescribed format that means new common application form which can be purchased from designated Head Post Offices or Post Offices through out the country by cash payment of Rs 30/-, the candidates required to paste the postage stamp Rs 6/- on the acknowledgement card and send it along with application form, candidates duly filled in application form and acknowledgement card should then mailed in the special envelop, candidates should also write the name of the examination… “Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2011″, on the envelop to the following address by post or speed post only, on or before 25-07-2011, “Controller of Examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069”.
